I used Great Stories Don't Tell Themselves by Larry Brooks to develop a Story Validation Checklist and give myself confidence in my third draft.

Thanks to some tough love from a beta reader, I set out to better myself as a writer over the second and third drafts of Spacewalker.

I owe my love of science fiction to my dad and his old books in the attic.

I use the story taxonomy to compare Spacewalker with Interstellar and Mickey7, Frozen Orbit, and Finder.

As I reached the end of writing my first draft, I asked myself: Who will live? Who will die? And why haven't I already figured this out?
